About
Our Story
Our grandmother’s store, the first Half-way Mercantile, was a marker.
Sitting halfway between the entrance to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat’l Park & Highway-50, it was a welcome stop for many a visitor. The store held standard roadside fare - ice cold sodas, souvenirs, & “Fish Naked” bumper stickers - but it also held her passion for jewlery. She spent her winters driving across the Four-Corners region, finding roadside stands & hand picking unique turquoise pieces to fill her display cabinets for the summer.
Like the Half-way Mercantile before us, our shop has grown out of our passions. Unique illustrations & design inspired by our love for cows, coffee, mountains, & the Great Indoors.`
We are still figuring out what all we have to offer so please feel free to contact us if you have an idea.
